Maintenance & Repairs
Here at Ronson Safety, not only can we inspect and examine your lifting equipment, but we can also carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), routine servicing, and also diagnose and repair faults.
Items that we are fully trained to work on include:
Overhead Travelling Cranes
We can look after any kind of overhead crane or hoist, from any manufacturer. We can service, adjust and lubricate all parts specifically required by the manufacturer, and we can also carry out repairs such as contactor replacements, wire rope changes or pendant upgrades.
Electric Chain Hoists
We are trained in a variety of different manufacturers hoists, from Columbus McKinnon, Konecranes, Verlinde, Nitchi and many more. We can replace various parts, carry out full brake strip and rebuild, replace chains, or replace entire units.
Genie Material Lift Specialist(SLA, Superlift, etc)
Fully manufacturer trained, we can perform routine servicing on all Genie material lifts, replacing any parts if required. We can replace ropes, fit new sheaves, strip and service winches and brakes, and much more. Anything your Genie needs, we can do.
Mace Bumpa Tile Hoist Specialist (also Shifta Conveyor)
Trained by the manufacturer Mace, we are experienced in diagnosing faults in both petrol and electric versions of all sizes of Bumpa and Hoddi, and can get you back up and running in no time. We can source genuine parts and replace anything that is required to keep your machine in great working order.
DEL (By Hiab) Vehicle Tail Lifts
Having been trained by DEL / Hiab, we can take care of servicing your vehicle’s tail-lift to manufacturer standards, prolonging the life of the lift, and keeping it safe for users and other road users. As they carry loads and persons, they also require regular LOLER inspections.
Pneumatic Air Hoists
We have worked extensively with JD Neuhaus Air Hoists in Aberdeen for the offshore industry, and can strip and service them if needed. We have also worked with Red Rooster air hoists, and can work on any hoist from 250kg to 100t capacity. We can also reconfigure any setup and clean valves etc. to keep them running properly.
Chain Slings and Lifting Accessories
Need a new set of hooks on your chains? No problem. In fact any part of the sling can be replaced to keep it in service safely, and we can repair almost any lifting device or accessory. Just ask!
